RVD-2-500 is designed for chemical reactions under high pressure and temperature (up to 200 bar at 250 °C). Reaction mixture is heated and stirred with a hot-plate magnetic stirrer via an aluminum thermal block. The heating temperature is regulated and controlled by the magnetic stirrer controller with an external temperature probe. Reactor body and lid are protected from corrosive media with PTFE inserts. For safe operation reactor is fitted with a rupture disc.
