Within the framework of the audit, the Technical Supervision Service (Technikos priežiūros tarnyba), as an accredited compliance assessment body, confirmed that the high-pressure reactors manufactured by Riva-Stal LLC (TM UOSlab®), as pressure equipment, complies to module B of the Directive 2014/68/EU.

High-pressure equipment may be an increasingly hazardous. For this reason, the European Parliament and the European Council adopted the EU Directive 2014/68/EU on the requirements for pressure equipment (PED) on 15 May 2014.

The purpose of this directive is to ensure that equipment operating under pressure and in circulation on the territory of the EU meets standards, and is designed and manufactured in such a way that the safety and protection of life and health of people, animals, property, and the environment is guaranteed.

An EC type-examination certificate, valid for 10 years, has been obtained as a result of the undertaken study (according to Module B of Directive 2014/68/EU).


CE marking (abbreviation Conformité Européenne - European compliance) is a special mark that is labeled on the product and which certifies that the product meets the basic requirements of the EU directives and the harmonized standards of the European Union, and that the product has passed the compliance assessment procedure with the directives. It means that the CE marking indicates that the product is not harmful to the health of its consumers and is also environmentally friendly.
